OUR ACTIVITIES

DAY 1

OPENING CEREMONY

Kids from the Czech school dance, sing and introduce themselves to welcome our partners

SCHOOL TOUR

The host teachers show the school facilities to the partners.

ATTENDING LESSONS

We visit different classrooms to see how they work at school.

BASKET KNITTING

We attend a workshop on how to knit basket, which is an activity that the school does with their kids, who have different special needs, so as to develop fine motor skills.

MUSIC THERAPY

We attend a workshop to learn how music can help students to develop rhythm, fine motor skills, expression, creativity, concentration…

DAY 2

STONE PAINTING

We attend a workshop on how to recycle natural materials to develop artistic competencies.

CODING

We attend a workshop on how to use artworks not only to learn about artists, but also to develop creativity and language.

ROBOT PAINTING

We attend a workshop on how to give orders to a robot to make it draw something on the board. Also, we saw how to work on artworks with it, for instance, with Picasso’s artworks.

ART IN OUR SCHOOLS

Each team presents the video/presentation made by their kids explaining how they work on art in their STEAM projects.

MINING MUSEUM

We visit one of the city’s mining museums.

DAY 3

STEAM IN OUR SCHOOLS

Each team presents the video/presentation showing a STEAM project.

3D AND VIRTUAL REALITY WORKSHOP

We attend a workshop with an expert about how 3D technology and virtual reality can help kids with special needs to feel the real world and to do activities that they can’t do in their daily lives.

BOLT TOWER AND ART GALLERY VISIT

We visit and discover the Bolt Tower to learn about the iron making process, as well as an art gallery to get inspiration for our classes.

DAY 4

UNIVERSITY VISIT

We visit VSB Ostrava’s university to learn about engineering and STEAM and to see how the building process of their Formula1 cars.

ROBOTS WORKSHOP

The Czech coordinator, who is an expert in robotics and programming shows the partners many different robots and how they can be used to attend the diversity and develop STEAM projects.

DAY 5

The Czech coordinator, who is an expert in robotics and programming shows the partners many different robots and how they can be used to attend the diversity and develop STEAM projects.

EVALUATION MEETING

We fill the LTTA post survey, evaluate the mobility and plan the next activities and mobilities.

FAREWELL AND CERTIFICATES

We have a farewell dinner in which the host teachers hand in the assistance certificates.
